What is RedKey?
PHYSICAL DEVICE
RedKey is a small, portable, physical security device (token) to support logging in to your online accounts. Think of it like an extra lock on your door.
Account Security
Passwords are dangerous. Public key cryptography (and RedKey) protect against phishing, key loggers, session hijacking,
man-in-the-middle, malware attacks, and many more.
HARDWARE SECURITY
Cryptographic co-processor with secure hardware-based key storage. Tamper resistant with temperature and voltage anti-tampering sensors.
Second Factor Authentication
RedKey U2F is based on the Universal Second Factor (U2F) Standards from the FIDO Alliance. Second factor authentication ensures you are the only person who can access your account even if someone else knows your password.
Defense against Phishing
Stops account takeovers. If a user is fooled into logging into a fake site, RedKey will fail on authentication because user logins are bound to the real site and the security check (cryptographic challenge) will fail.
Compatible with U2FZero
Software from the open source U2FZero project can be reflashed on RedKey U2F.
